Seller Agreement

Last updated: September 2026

1. Your role as a seller

You are the seller of record for every item you list. ComicBookVault provides the platform and payment processing; we are not the seller. You warrant that you own every item you list and have the right to sell it.

2. Accurate listings

You must accurately describe each copy's condition, grading company, and certification number. Falsifying grades or cert numbers is grounds for immediate suspension.

3. Fees

ComicBookVault charges an 8% platform fee on the final sale price, deducted from your payout. There are no listing fees and no insertion fees.

4. Shipping

A flat $4.99 shipping charge is added to every order and collected from the buyer. You are responsible for packing and shipping within 3 business days of payment. You choose the carrier.

5. Payouts

Your payout equals the sale price minus the 8% platform fee. Payouts are sent to your PayPal account within 7 days of confirmed delivery. Keep your PayPal email current in your storefront settings — we cannot send funds to an outdated address. You can track payout status for each sale in your dashboard.

6. Returns & disputes

Buyers may open a dispute if an item doesn't arrive or isn't as described. If a dispute is resolved in the buyer's favor, the sale is refunded and your payout for that order is reversed.

7. Prohibited items

Counterfeits, pirated copies, stolen goods, and reproductions sold as originals are prohibited. List these and you forfeit any pending payout and your account.

8. Account suspension

We may suspend sellers for repeated disputes, inaccurate listings, or policy violations. Suspended sellers receive any earned payout owed before suspension.

9. Taxes

You are responsible for your own tax obligations on sales. ComicBookVault does not withhold taxes on your behalf except where required by law.
